Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern use of GeoPosition, an online geography guessing game operated by Békési Bálint, a private individual based in Hungary. Contact: abbalint@gmail.com.
1. Using GeoPosition
GeoPosition offers geography-based gameplay, including guest play and multiplayer features. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable or be discontinued. Access is subject to these terms and applicable law.
2. Guest play and optional accounts
You may play supported game modes without registering. Guest progress may depend on a browser session and may become inaccessible if cookies are deleted or you change devices. When social sign-in becomes available, you may choose to connect Google or Facebook to a persistent account. You are responsible for securing access to your authentication provider account.
3. Public usernames and acceptable content
Your nickname may appear in multiplayer rounds and public rankings. Do not use nicknames or other submitted content that impersonate someone, reveal another person's private information, infringe intellectual property rights, promote illegal activities, or contain sexual content, threats, harassment, hate speech or misleading offers. We may rename or restrict profiles and remove content that breaches these rules. To report content, contact abbalint@gmail.com.
4. Fair play
Do not use bots, exploits, modified clients, unauthorized automation, artificial matchmaking, score manipulation, account impersonation or other methods to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt the service. We may investigate suspicious activity and remove invalid results from leaderboards.
5. Leaderboards and statistics
Scores, ranks and statistics are intended for entertainment and may be recalculated or corrected when errors, cheating or system changes are detected. No leaderboard position, rating or availability is guaranteed. Unless expressly stated otherwise, game points have no cash value.
6. Advertising and external links
GeoPosition is supported by advertisements delivered through Monetag. Ads may include vignette or other display formats depending on the current configuration. Ad selection and availability are managed by third-party providers. We do not require ad clicks, purchases or notification subscriptions to play. Do not use bots or artificial impressions or clicks to manipulate advertising.
Advertisements may link to third-party sites with separate terms and privacy practices. An ad is not our endorsement of the advertiser or its claims. Report suspicious or inappropriate ads to abbalint@gmail.com with the time, destination URL and a screenshot if available, or use Monetag's abuse reporting service.

7. Google Maps and third-party services
GeoPosition uses Google Maps and Street View and may offer Google or Facebook login. These features may be governed by additional third-party terms, including Google Maps Terms and the applicable authentication provider terms. We do not control the availability of third-party services.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep GeoPosition available, but maintenance, technical faults, internet outages and third-party changes may interrupt access. We may modify gameplay rules, scoring, matchmaking and supported features.
9. Intellectual property
The GeoPosition name, original game code, interface and other original content are protected to the extent permitted by law. Third-party maps, imagery, trademarks and services remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not grant rights to reuse third-party Street View or map imagery outside the game.
10. Liability
GeoPosition is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for interruptions, lost guest progress or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Hungarian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable law. You may contact us first to try to resolve a concern informally. Any dispute resolution or court jurisdiction is subject to mandatory applicable rules.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service changes. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
