How to play GeoPosition
GeoPosition is an online geography guessing game using Google Street View. Each round drops you into a random outdoor location. Look for clues in road signs, buildings, landscapes, and languages, then click the world map to submit your guess.
- Choose Singleplayer for a solo round, or Multiplayer to wait for a second player.
- When the round starts, examine the Street View scene. You have up to 60 seconds to guess.
- Click the map to place your guess. After the round, compare it with the actual location and see your distance and score.
Solo practice and two-player geography matches
Practice recognizing places in singleplayer, or challenge another player to guess the same location in multiplayer. A closer guess earns more points, up to 100 per round. You can start as a guest.
Multiplayer results update your Elo rating. Follow your progress from Bronze to Master on the GeoPosition multiplayer leaderboard.
